"And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins."  Matthew 1:21 

As we stare at yet another Christmas season, it's hard to believe that another year has flown by.  I'm reminded of Galatians 6:9-10,

"And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.  So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."

Key words in this passage include "in due time."  All too often we seek to gain results in our time, not the Lord's.  Remember, God doesn't call us to be successful, only faithful.

As we reflect on Christmas 2008, let us remember His birth, proclaim His death, and celebrate the blessed hope we have in His return.
